Rachel Kranzberg Miller, Judaica & Jewelry

Rachel Kranzberg MillerFor Rachel Kranzberg Miller, Judaica is the vehicle that brings together her creative energies and her personal values. The original textures in Rachel’s pieces are inspired by calligraphy, illuminations, art nouveau, and Moorish and Islamic art. She has traveled through Europe and Southeast Asia, which has inspired her love for handmade crafts, textiles, and antiquities. Her work has been featured in many Arts and Craft books, exhibitions, and magazines.

Rachel graduated from Boston University with a bachelor of fine arts in painting and then went on to get a degree in fashion design at New York City. Inspired to learn everything she could about this new form of metal, Rachel has studied with some of the most renowned metal clay masters, improving her skills until it was time to invest in a kiln to fire her work.

Known for her delicate and personal pieces, which are made with silver, gold and precious gemstones, Rachel started making jewelry while raising her two daughters, Abigail and Tamara.
