---> Summer wrap up and back to school
Hi Everyone!
With the summer behind us, there's lots to catch up on. First there's
our newest artist, Steven Cooper, Metalsmith. Then there's a very neat
page with 9 of our artists saying, "Hello!" And Rosh Hashanah
is here in 2 weeks. Have you seen our beautiful
Apple & Honey dishes?
Let's get straight to the good stuff...!

THE STEVE COOPER COLLECTION

Steven
Cooper's Judaica is absolutely exquisite. He makes the most beautiful
sterling silver mezuzahs, and his incredible menorahs and candlesticks
are made from brass. Check out the video
of Steven talking about his work and his process. He is a very talented
and passionate artist. I met Steven and his wife at the Philadelphia
Buyer's Market of American Craft. Although I go for the Judaica, I couldn't
resist and bought two pairs of earrings for the collection. Each pair
is gorgeous.

What's New at Jewish
Gift Place
---> The Artists say, "Hello!" and Gary Rosenthal
wishes you a Happy Rosh Hashanah!
Three weeks ago, I went to the NY International Gift Fair, which is
one of my favorite things to do for Jewish Gift Place - I absolutely
LOVE this show! This is where I get to meet the artists
we represent here at Jewish Gift Place and meet
new artists. The artists show their new products and I goggle at
it all and wish that I could buy just about everything that I see. This
year, I asked the artists to say, "Hello." Remember, everything
we sell at Jewish Gift Place is handmade, so it is my pleasure to introduce
you to the talented artists who makes each piece.

Risa's Wrap-up
The kids wish that camp could go on all year, but I'm happy to have
a schedule back in place. We had a great summer with 5 trips! We started
off in South Portland, Maine for 3 days, then we went camping at Keen
Lake Campground in Waymart, PA for a week, then we camped in Lake George,
NY for 4 nights. We loved Maine so much, we went back for a week to
Sebago Lake State Park, which might be the nicest campground I was every
at. Then, the boys and I were invited to stay with my sister-in-law
and kids at Camp Nah-Jee-Wah for 2 nights - a family camp in Milford,
PA. That was AWESOME! I went on a zip line, which was super scary and
crazy and I'll never do that again.

Fishing at Sebago Lake. Our campsite
was just a couple of hundred feet behind those trees.
I hope your summer was great!
Have a great week! Catch you in two weeks!
