Risa's Wrap-up
---> Great time at the Philly Buyer's Market!

Hi Everyone!

Passover begins 3 weeks from today on Friday, April 6, 2012! Below are my favorite Passover Seder plates, matzah plates, Elijah's Cups and Miriam's Cups, but they are all really beautiful. If you're looking for a meaningful engagement gift, Bar or Bat Mitzvah gift, or a hostess gift, check out all of the Passover Gifts. Emily Rosenfeld's Miriam's Cup is one of my favorites and the one that I use at my Passover Seder. Read my article to earn more about the Symbolism of Miriam's Cup.

  • Symbolism of Miriam's Cup - A fascinating look at the role of Miriam in the story of Passover, the symbolism of Miriam's Cup, and amazing pictures.
  • Modesty and Orthodox Women - A young woman examines the rules of modestly in dress and experiences rules of modesty in Israel and told to get to the back of the bus in Beit Shemesh.
  • Five Regrets of the Dying - A little morbid, but with 5 great life lessons. Lana passed this on to me.

Risa's Wrap-up
The Philadelphia Buyer's Market of American Craft was AWESOME!!! I absolutely love that show! I wrote a lot more about the show from 2010, but my feelings are the same and the the whole experience was great. I got to Philly on Friday, walked around the town, saw a show at night, jogged around the city a bit on Saturday, then spent all day Saturday at the Buyer's Market, where I met my friend, Jill, and her mom. I met a bunch of new artists, bought their stuff, and soon I'll be showing it to you! I've already gotten in all my shipments from the NY International Gift Fair, so now I've got to photograph them, write descriptions, and get them online. I think you'll love them!

Have a great week! Please keep in touch. Follow me on Twitter @jewishgiftplace, or on Facebook . If you send me a tweet, I'll tweet you back!
