Hi Everyone!

This weekend I will be in Philadelphia at the Buyer's Market of American Craft. Yahoo!!! One of my favorite places to be! I love Philly. I'll go to a show at night, eat out, enjoy and relax! I look forward to meeting new artists and bringing their beautiful work to you!

New Artist - Morningstar Metalworks

Morningstar Metalworks, founded by the husband and wife team, Art Mathewson and Nancy Martin-Mathewson, make handmade Kiddush cups and Shabbat candlesticks out of brass, copper, and anodized metal. Their handmade pieces are inspired by the beautiful sunsets seen from their studio in Mount Vision, NY. If you are looking for a special wedding gift, anniversary gift, or any-occasion gift, these pieces are modern and spectacular works of art.

A woman refused to move to the back of the bus when ordered to by a Haredi man, who said that "it was his right." The shocker is that in the Hasidic neighborhood of Williamsburg and Borough Park in Brooklyn, women have been instructed to sit in the rear of the bus. Read the rest of this shocking blog post.
