I met Curtis and Sheron Rowland at the Philadelphia Buyer's Market of American Craft in February 2011. I strolled through their booth and absolutely loved their pieces, but I couldn't find anything Jewish looking. When I asked Curtis if they had any Judaica, he said, "We'll make it for you!" Risa's Wrap-up
I hope your holidays were great. We belong to a synagogue with a Cantor with a really beautiful tenor voice, which we got to enjoy the last 2 weeks accompanied by a choir from Israel. We got away for a 2-night camping trip last weekend to Belleplain State Forest in NJ, which has great bike paths, and this past weekend, we visited Planting Fields Arboretum, a 400-acre estate in Old Brookville, NY. It's amazing what old money can buy - mansions and grounds beyond belief!
