And the Winner Is…

Leave it to a 10-year-old to find beauty in these seemingly incessant snowstorms we have been hit with in New York recently. I stopped and took a good look at the icicles and had to agree…when the setting sun hit them just right, they were like an unboxed gift of jewelry from Mother Nature.
I love jewelry in all its forms. No one appreciates a beautiful, well-made piece of jewelry more than me. Last spring we took a family trip to Washington, DC, and my family abandoned me at the Smithsonian Museum’s Gem Gallery because I simply could not bear to walk away from the incredible, sparkling, huge diamonds, gems, and jewelry on display. Like my daughter with the icicles, I was completely dazzled and mesmerized.
Well, apparently my preoccupation with all things sparkly has not gone unnoticed, as recently, I celebrated a milestone birthday, my 40th, and my husband of 14 years presented me with a gorgeous 3 carat diamond eternity band. I was shocked, thrilled, and speechless. And rarely am I at a loss for words! But I have made an interesting observation. I have been wearing my new ring for over a week now, and although it is simply gorgeous, I have received no unsolicited comments or compliments. This got me thinking.
Whenever I wear my Michal Golan Black Hamsa Necklace I get compliments all day long! People constantly inquire about it and I am more than happy to talk about Michal’s beautiful jewelry. And now with the addition of her collection of hamsa hand bracelets, I haven’t stopped talking! The crystals and gems Michal uses in her jewelry sparkle and shine like some of the best diamonds. So, I decided to try a little experiment. I wore my new ring and my hamsa necklace together and guess which piece got more compliments? You got it…just please don’t tell my husband!
I decided to share my experiment with everyone because I really feel you get so much bang for your buck when it comes to Michal Golan’s pieces. The value, quality, and workmanship are incredible and you will not regret your purchase for one minute. Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, and unfortunately, you can’t gift wrap an icicle, but you can give a gift of love and appreciation with a beautiful piece of jewelry from the Michal Golan collection.
