Artist Tamara Baskin is known worldwide for her amazing fused glass artwork. Her collection of Hanukkah dreidels is incredibly unique and exquisitely vibrant. Crafted from multi-colored dichroic glass, Tamara Baskin's Hanukkah Dreidel is decorated with silver Hebrew lettering. As is customary, the dreidel bears the letters Nun, Gimel, Hay, and Shin standing for "Nes Gadol Hayah Shom," a great miracle happened there, referring, of course, to the miracle in the Temple for which Hanukkah is celebrated. Each dreidel stem is topped with a handmade glass bead. Simple but stunning, the Light Blue Dreidel is a beauty in Tamara Baskin's Judaica collection. This particular piece features a light blue base, gorgeous in glass work that makes the piece shine with brilliance. The handle of the dreidel is especially vibrant with detailed glass work and a dazzling display of pink and blue.
