Watercolor Tallit in Blues

This traditional women's silk tallit is designed with sapphire blended with aqua blue and amethyst with gold highlights. Matching tallis bag included. The handmade tallit comes with a matching kippah, tallit clip, and matching bag. It is hand painted on medium weight crepe de chine silk.

This silk tallis was created through the French art of silk painting. Each tallis begins as white silk yardage. The silk is stretched as a painter's canvas and the design is applied with gutta. The imported French dyes are applied using watercolor techniques and brushes. The dyes are then set and the tallis is finished into a unique piece of wearable art. The variations and nuances of shading and color that give this tallis it's unique personality are not considered imperfections.
