Artist Susan Fullenbaum has designed this unique modern mezuzah which is the perfect Jewish gift! The Hebrew words "Shalom Bayit" are sandblasted onto this striking blue mezuzah and this translates to "Peace in the home". Another peace symbol, that of the dove, is also used to compliment the meaning of the mezuzah. The graphic was designed with Julie Staller-Pentelnik, a Hebrew calligrapher and artist of ketubot. The graphic in the shalom Bayit mezuzah has been sandblasted and fire polished in the kiln. A second layer of glass is added and then the mezuzah front is adhered to the Plexiglas case.

The mezuzah case comes with nails and a printed scroll or klaf, ready to be placed on the doorpost of a Jewish home. The scroll contains the words of two passages from Deuteronomy, 11:13 and 6:4-9. Deuteronomy 6:4-9 has the words of the "Shema Israel" in which God commands Jews to keep God's words constantly in their minds and in their hearts.
