Pomegranate Gifts and Pomegranate Jewelry

Learn More About The Symbolism of the Pomegranate

Here at Jewish Gift Place, we love the pomegranate! We searched for and found the most exquisite pomegranate Judaica and pomegranate gifts for you to give or keep for yourself. The deep rich red color of this remarkable fruit translates so well into pomegranate jewelry and art. Look below to see our beautiful pomegranate necklaces, like the Angie Olami Pomegranate Necklace with Garnet, or the colorful Pomegranate Mezuzah by Yossi Steinberg.

To honor the tradition and history of the pomegranate, we offer the Studio Roja Pewter Star of David and Pomegranate Mezuzah, the Emily Rosenfeld Pomegranate Tzedekah Box, and other beautiful pieces adorned with the pomegranate. We also feature a pair of whimsical yet symbolic Emily Rosenfeld sterling silver pomegranate earrings, and a fun and fashionable charm bracelet, with - you guessed it – the fruit of honor, dangling in all its ancient and modern glory! Symbolism of the Jewish Pomegranate

Pomegranates are exotic, ancient fruits that are rich in vitamins and antioxidants, but are also rich in Jewish symbolism and tradition. The Jewish pomegranate is a symbol of righteousness, fruitfulness, knowledge, learning and wisdom. Grown in the Mediterranean region for several thousand years, there are specific references to the pomegranate in the Bible. Exodus 28:33-34 states that images of pomegranates be woven into the hem of the me’il (“robe of ephod”), a robe worn by the Hebrew High Priest. It is said that the pomegranate contains 613 seeds, which corresponds to the 613 mitzvot, or commandments, of the Torah.
