On Rosh Hashana it is customary to dip apples into honey and wish each other a "good and sweet year." This bowl is the perfect vessel for this traditional Jewish custom.
Emily Rosenfeld's honey bowl shows careful attention to detail with three dimensional casting. The inside of the bowl has a large, half apple and the inner rim is inscribed with the words "a good and sweet new year" in both English and Hebrew. The pewter dipper is included and is a delightful companion piece to the bowl. The dipper is decorated with a flower and a honey bee.
