This striking Star of David Bracelet is a beautiful work of art. The pattern on the bracelet was taken from a decorative element on a Hanukkah lamp designed at the famed Bezalel School of Arts and Crafts in Jerusalem, Israel around 1908-29. This school was founded by artist Boris Schatz in 1906 in order to create a new Jewish style and to provide income for Jewish settlers. The lamp is richly patterned in silver filigree in Yemenite style and accented in turquoise and carnelian. This handsome Jewish star bracelet is handcrafted of leather and sterling silver. The bracelet, created by Cynthia Gale, is part of the Jewish Museum Collection and was designed in conjunction with The Jewish Museum.
